Three Chicago men have been charged with allegedly breaking into coin-operated video games in various local bars to get money, they said, to pay for beer and prostitutes, according to criminal complaints filed Friday in Sheboygan County Circuit Court.
According to the complaints:
Eddie Anderson, 41, Kenneth R. Mathis, 38, and Dion E. Paige, 35, broke into machines at a strip club in Manitowoc, three bars in Sheboygan and two taverns in Howards Grove on Aug. 25 and Aug. 31.
The amount of money stolen from individual machines ranged from $6 to about $100. Sometimes, as many as five machines were broken into in a single bar. The men planned to use the money to provide them “with free beer” and to “buy women for sex,” although that never happened, the men told police.
