Massage Parlor Re-Opens; Hearing Expected
A Park Ridge massage parlor, the location of a recent prostitution bust, is back open for business.
“They’ve re-opened pending their hearing,” confirmed Police Cmdr. Lou Jogmen on Monday, Feb. 15. The city has moved to revoke the license of Time Out Sports Spa, 712 W. Higgins Rd., explained Tim Schwarz, environmental health officer. He hopes to send out a notice of revocation to the business later this week.
The business would then be forced to close within 10 days unless they request a hearing, an action Schwarz expects.
On Feb. 4 at about 2 p.m., police investigators conducted an investigation at Time Out. Undercover officers entered the business and requested a massage. During the massage, Jin Jin, 43, of Flushing, N.Y., allegedly attempted to perform a sex act with the officer. She was taken into custody and charged with prostitution. Jin has a scheduled court appearance at the Cook County Courthouse in Skokie on Feb. 19.
