Senator Sessions, appearing on CNN, had difficulty defending his position, when challenged by John King, on his implications that Kagan lacked integrity.
When Sessions was the point person for the Republicans at the hearings for Justice Sotomayor he made a similar play, fashioning lies out of situations ripe for an easy twist, to fuel those stupid enough to take one with such a racist past  seriously.  So it is not surprising to note the distortions and accusations crafted by Sessions, delivered with body language spelling “short little effeminate ’straight’ man bully,” when the exchanged occurred at the hearings.
Clearly distorting  the  military recruitment  controversy  at Harvard, is being used in an attempt to discredit Kagan, and is evidenced clearly by the fact that Newt Gingrich was out pimping and Sessions repeating the very same ‘talking points.’

RUSH: Jeff Sessions, Republican Senator from Alabama dismantled Elena Kagan today in his opening statement.  Now, in addition to Solicitor General Kagan decked out in Democrat infidelity blue, she has practiced and been rehearsing the aggrieved Democrat wife stone face.  You remember when Eliot Spitzer, Client No. 9…? How about CNN? Can you believe this?  Maurice “Reese” Schonfeld, the founder of CNN said (paraphrased) “This is it! That’s it! I can’t believe they’ve done this.  They’ve hired ‘Client No. 9′ Eliot Spitzer and Kathleen Parker, who has made her bones by being conservative, who attacks conservatives as a columnist for the Washington Post.  Yeah, she’s a reasonable conservative.  Eliot Spitzer. They’re saying it’s not going to be a revival of Crossfire, but what message does this send? (laughing) You want to work at CNN?  Go hire a prostitute and get caught! Anybody can be in the media today.  It’s nothing special.  I’m thinking of becoming an astronaut.  At least that’s something unique.

But if you bring another country which has already tackled the issue, they cant push you back.
Morocco is also a conservative country, she said, but has set up a successful prevention programme that works with prostitutes and homosexuals.The UNAids report also praises Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan, Lebanon, Somalia and Yemen for making great efforts to track the high-risk populations.Just because you make an effort to target and acknowledge these groups, Ms Khaitb said, it does not mean you are encouraging it.

NZAF Patron and former Justice of the High Court of Australia Michael Kirby has also been made a Commissioner.
The NZAF says it is delighted the new UN organisation has been established to tackle legal and policy challenges surrounding HIV.
Executive Director Rachael Le Mesurier says the political clout and international prominence of the UN will push these issues to the forefront of the global agenda.
“And we’re incredibly proud that people from, and close to, the NZAF have been selected to take part.”
Le Mesurier says from its earliest days, the NZAF was very clear that human rights legislation was a priority if NZ was to have an effective response to HIV. She says it advocated strongly for human rights legislation related to HIV including the Homosexual Law Reform Act in 1986, the Human Rights Amendment in 1993 and the Prostitution Law Reform Act in 2003.

Kagan went to great lengths to say that her overview of these methods was just that – an overview, not a prescription – and she outlined ways the government could enforce laws restricting pornography and hate speech.
First, Kagan reinforced a need to focus on conduct instead of words when deciding on cases that interpret the reach of the First Amendment. On pornography, Kagan said it was important to enforce laws that punished conduct that perpetuated the degradation of women, such as pimping and prostitution. The same would apply for actions that result from hate speech. Regarding hate crime laws, Kagan said she found no fault with the previous court rulings that upheld laws making penalties tougher on those who commit crimes based on the “race, religion or other listed status” of the victim.

Such statutes may still be constitutional.” Gerstein says she also pressed for “new and harsher penalties against the kinds of violence against women that takes place in producing pornography, the use of pandering statutes and pimp statutes against pornographers…perhaps the initiation–the enactment of new statutes prohibiting the hiring of women for commercial purposes to engage in sexual activities.”
