The girl told police he pulled up next to her and asked her if she wanted a ride. He followed her, beeped his horn and yell at her to get in the truck.
She ran to school and alerted a security guard there.
The suspect is a white male, 30 – 35 years old, bald, with a round face and muscular build.
Meanwhile, police at the Northwestern University campus in Evanston have posted an alert on their website after a man tried to lure a 16-year-old girl into his car on Thursday.
The teen is a student in a summer program at the school and was approached by the man at 3 p.m.
The man was driving a yellow car and had a laptop computer with him. He allegedly told the girl. “If you are interested in an escort service, I can take you anywhere you want.”

Let’s stipulate: Buying fantastically expensive clothes you can’t afford isn’t a crime. Such extravagance may be connected to various moral violations (greed, jealousy, vanity, coveting thy neighbor’s Prada), and the federal prosecutors are seeking to link it to a crime.
But if dropping sinful sums on clothes were in itself criminal, all those “Sex and the City” babes, and a lot of real people like them, would be in orange jumpsuits.
Still, there is a unique social stigma and a moral taint to maxing out your credit cards on clothes.
It’s one thing to overspend on a liver transplant for your wife or a college degree for your kid. Overspending on clothes, however, is in the devil’s basement of the moral hierarchy, only slightly above squandering your dough on poker, drugs and escort services.

The elements of Love Ranch that are the most fascinating involve screenwriter Mark Jacobson’s examination of the Bontempos inability to run their perfectly legal business inside the law. They seem incapable of managing their operation without cheating the IRS and keeping two sets of accounting books, among their many offenses. I was especially impressed with Pesci’s work as Charlie, a man who pitches his brothel and prostitutes like used cars. His ridiculous southern accent underscores the lengths he will go to to get people to like him and use his services. But he also manages to unleash an ugly, dangerous, slightly psychotic side that made me think, “Ah, there’s the Joe Pesci we know and love.” Mirren certainly goes for a more Zen approach to her performance, but her real strength comes in the gradual breaking down of her resistance to falling in love with Bruza.

This perception certainly has not been helped by recent Senate conflict-of-interest cases involving seven KoLs in psychiatry or by recent comments from the head of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), who noted that “the close connection between leading psychiatrists and the pharmaceutical industry, once a sign of progress . . . is now cited as evidence of a corrupt influence” (13, 15, 16).
