Chicago Escorts: PM to miss Craig Thomson’s speech to parliament

SUSPENDED Labor MP Craig Thomson is set to tell federal parliament he never used union funds to pay for prostitutes, but Prime Minister Julia Gillard probably won’t hear his much-anticipated explanation.
The PM is in Chicago for a major NATO summit and has suggested she won’t be watching when Mr Thomson rises to his feet around midday on Monday – which will be late Sunday evening in the United States.
“Look, I’ll be focused on the work here at the summit,” Ms Gillard said when asked if she’d be tuning in to the lower house.
Nevertheless, most eyes will be on the former Health Services Union (HSU) boss when he attempts to explain how Fair Work Australia (FWA) found he spent $500,000 of union funds on escort services and personal and election campaign expenses.

Mr Thomson will tell parliament he didn’t use his union credit card to pay for prostitutes, that his signature was forged and his driver’s licence number was used by someone else.

Chicago Strip Clubs: Amid evidence cache in Martin case, questions nag

So many aspects of the Feb. 26 altercation and shooting in Sanford remain muddy. Who threw the first punch? Why did Zimmerman leave his car?
This cache of recordings, photos and statements is far from all the evidence. But it suggests there are answers we may never truly get.
“I can’t comment on, you know, what George saw or what George was thinking,” the suspect’s father, Robert, told investigators in a March 19 interview included in Thursday’s release. “Or what anybody saw or what they were thinking.”
In some states, “discovery” like this isn’t released prior to trial – unless it’s by a defense team hoping to score points in the court of public opinion. That is what happened during the infamous 2006 Duke University lacrosse rape case, in which North Carolina officials ultimately determined that the local prosecutor rushed to judgment in charging three students with raping a stripper.

Chicago Adult Entertainment: Chicago man in human trafficking case arrested

CHICAGO — A Chicago man is being held in lieu of $1 million bond after being accused of forcing young girls into prostitution. During a bond hearing Wednesday, Cook County prosecutors said DaJuan Brown beat and exploited at least 12 girls over a five-year period. It is alleged the 35-year-old Brown would sometimes lock the victims without food or appliances in his apartment. Prosecutors also said Brown would ply the girls with heroin and if they met their quotas he would reward them with more drugs and food from a fast-rood restaurant’s dollar menu. Brown is charged with 10 felony counts of involuntary sexual servitude and one count of aggravated human trafficking. He was arrested Tuesday by sheriff’s police who had been told Brown had been holding women against their will.

Chicago Escorts: Human Trafficking, Prostitution Expected to Increase During Summit

Human Trafficking, Prostitution Expected to Increase During Summit
Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office says crimes of sexual exploitation will not be ignored
The NATO Summit hitting Chicago this weekend is expected to bring the city a lot of things, including an increase in prostitutes.
With a recent crackdown on human trafficking in the streets of Chicago, Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez said Wednesday that law enforcement will have their eyes peeled for sexual exploitation during the summit to further deter sex trafficking in the city.
Studies have shown that that demand for this type of sexual activity increases with major events, Alvarez said in a statement.
She said the charges brought this week against one alleged trafficker should send a strong message to both criminals and their potential customers that the activity will not be ignored.

Chicago Escorts: Chicago welcomes NATO

Please learn our peculiar customs. Some of you foreigners may think they are the same in your country. Our argot is quite different. Our elected officials do not take bribes. They are properly called grease, motion lotion, stuffing (as for envelopes or paper bags), help, assistance, lettuce, green or salad. Sometimes an offer to buy a hat or tie is acceptable.
A bagman is not someone who walks around with a satchel with nuclear codes or a homeless guy. A bagman is da guy who takes the stuffing for da guy who is s’posed to get it. Got it?
If you don’t want to wake up in the gutter, beaten, bloody, and toothless, remember this. Our elected officials and their bagmen do not take American Express.
For you or your bodyguard’s late night entertainment value, we do not call a fille de joie, courtesan, or trolling trollop a mere prostitute or call girl. The proper term is whooore. If you are too drunk, looking for some car action, and are directed to certain areas, be sure to check the package of the whooore first. Some are not what they seem.
